The annual RESNET Building Performance Conference is the “can’t afford to miss” event for the rating, building performance and home building industry. Due to the pandemic, this year’s conference will be held virtually. The RESNET 2021 Conference will not be your typical, virtual event. It will be offering an exciting mix of live-stream events and a wide array of pre-recorded technical sessions addressing subjects of critical importance. There will be 3 days of a live-stream Feb 22-24 that will last about 3 hours, 9-12 PT, and an on-demand library of about 100 breakout sessions that are accessible all through 2021. The event will also offer fun social events including virtual morning workout classes, social hours and cocktail making classes. This is a unique opportunity to learn while having fun that you don’t want to miss and because it’s being held virtually, this year’s event will be at an affordable price. Bulk discounting will also be available so your whole company can participate, and you can save even more by registering early! How will raters obtain the 18 Professional Development credits for RESNET? The three-day RESNET Virtual Conference will take place on February 22-24, 2021. A live-stream general session will take place from 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM Pacific each day, Monday-Wednesday. These live-streams count towards 9 PDs total (3 each day). Although we encourage attendees to join us live, we understand that many in the building performance and energy efficiency industry cannot take the time out of their day to be fully present each day. If you cannot attend live, you will submit a form indicating you watched the session recordings. The additional 9 credits can be obtained by watching 9 on-demand sessions in the video library before the end of 2021. The attendee will submit a form to indicate which sessions they watched, and a RESNET team member will be able to verify that the attendee fully attended the on-demand session from the back-end of the virtual conference platform. RESNET will then create a list of Raters who qualified for the 18 credits, distribute it to providers, and will update certification records in the RESNET registry. How does bulk registration work? Bulk registration will be applied after your register 5+ attendees and will be summed as one final invoice. NOTE: to qualify for bulk registrations, all attendees must be registered at the same time. Each virtual conference attendee will have access to our directory where you’ll be able to acquire names and choose to then communicate/chat and exchange contact details with others. However, (besides names) these contact details won’t be provided to you by RESNET unless of course, you are a sponsor.
