2025 ELC Fellows Created in October 2018, the fellowship offers today’s up-and-coming HERS® industry professionals, who are passionate about HERS® and energy performance, the chance to attend the 2025 RESNET® Conference. The 2025 Fellows are also now members of the RESNET Emerging Leadership Council. In 2016, the RESNET Board of Directors established the Emerging Leadership Council to recruit and engage the next generation of leaders for the organization and the rating industry. Please join us in congratulating the 2025 RESNET Emerging Leader Fellows. Jennifer Goldberg SK Collaborative, Georgia (HERS Rater) View Jennifer’s application video. I went to school for civil engineering, but by the time I finished my degree, I was almost certain that I did not want to be an engineer. I had always been interested in finding something with a sustainability angle. I interned with the sustainability group at a larger consulting and commissioning firm after my junior year, so I started my search there. I found the firm I work for, SK Collaborative, online and was drawn to the idea of a company where sustainable certification and consulting is the main focus, not an afterthought or add-on. Green building ended up being exactly the blend of hands-on, technical, environmentally focused work I was hoping to find. Dorian Gothard Southern Energy Management, North Carolina (HERS® Rating Field Inspector) View Dorian’s application video. My greatest impact in the field of energy efficiency and sustainable building practices will come from a blend of expertise, advocacy, and collaboration. First, I plan to continuously enhance my knowledge through certifications and hands-on experiences. By immersing myself into energy efficiency programs and technologies, I can become a go-to resource for innovative solutions that address both environmental challenges and the specific needs of clients. Through this combination of expertise, advocacy, collaboration, and mentorship, I’m confident that I can make a meaningful impact and help to create a more sustainable future for our communities and the planet. Alex Haworth New Ecology, Maryland (HERS® Rater) View Alex’s application video. I believe my varied professional experience and passion make me a unique and valuable candidate to sit on the ELC. I feel relatively new to the world of RESNET but well-seasoned in the world of building science and residential energy efficiency. My work has spanned climate zones, the single and multifamily sector, occupied Wx rehabs and new construction multifamily Phius projects. I have worked in the high-end single-family market and on government funded housing assistance programs serving low income rural and urban communities. I am equally at home conversing with trades people as I am with mechanical engineers, architects and government stake holders. I have framed homes and lead insulation crews but have also logged thousands of hours completing energy models across numerous software. I love getting my hands dirty in the field but also “nerding” out over Standards language. Previous Fellow Winners Meet the previous winners of the RESNET Conference Fellowship! Previous Winners
