All multifamily units permitted on or after January 1, 2025, are required to use ZERH Multifamily Version 2, Revision 1. The U.S. Department of Energy has created two new training modules to introduce verifiers to the Zero Energy Ready Home (ZERH) Multifamily Version 2 program requirements. There are two training modules that must be completed through the RESNET® Training Portal. • ZERH Multifamily – Part 1 • ZERH Multifamily – Part 2a Upon completion of both training modules and the successful completion of the quiz associated with each module, HERS Raters and RFIs will be issued the “ZERH Multifamily Verifier” certification in the RESNET Registry. Please be sure to enter your RTIN or RFIIN at the completion of each quiz. This training is required to be completed by April 1, 2025.
