RESNET is pleased to announce that Paulette McGhie has been added to RESNET’s Support Team as a Programs Manager. For over 20 years Paulette has demonstrated expertise in the HERS® industry with significant experience in California and Utah. She has a vast understanding of residential construction and energy efficiency programs, Title 24, International Energy Conservation Code, utility incentives, HERS H20, WaterSense, Net Zero Energy Ready Homes, and Energy Star versions 3.1, 3.2, and 3.4. Working with production builders, Ms. McGhie was able to successfully contract HERS testing and above code program certifications in Northern California and worked with a HERS Rating Company to open the Utah housing market. Paulette has developed a vast outreach with homebuilders and the residential construction industry. She has experience working with homebuilders and in the residential construction industry. Ms. McGhie has also participated in the energy code development and adoption process. She has networked with utilities and State Energy Offices and has been involved in educating Senators and Congressmen. Paulette’s first tasks with RESNET are to support the HERS industry as being seen as the “go-to resource” for energy code compliance, working with appraisal software programs to auto-populate HERS® Index Scores in appraisal reports and expand the RESNET HERSH2O® program.
