Efforts could be made to find partnerships with regional educational organizations to help promote HERS® Ratings further. I would also be able to work locally to help find ways to incorporate HB 3215 and 45L along with other IOU and public utility programs to help incentivize builders to consider HERS® as a staple to building.” RESNET Executive Director Steve Baden welcomed Robert Pegues to the RESNET Board, “Robert provides insight into the needs of high-volume builders in a booming market. Clearly, Texas is leading the path for HERS-rated homes as demonstrated by the fact that in 2022 over 80,000 homes were HERS® rated in the state.”
