The International Reflective Insulation Manufacturers Conference took place in London from March 6 – 7, 2014. The conference drew delegates from 15 nations (Australia, Canada, Costa Rica, Germany, India, Israel, Italy, Kuwait, Malaysia, Mexico, Slovakia, South Korea, United Kingdom and USA. The event hosts researchers and industry leaders from around the world to discuss housing trends, codes, industry standards and research and testing results on reflective insulation, radiant barriers and interior radiation control. RESNET Executive Director Steve Baden addressed the conference on the role of home energy ratings is playing in mainstreaming energy efficiency in the US housing market. His presentation demonstrated how market based solutions can drive demand for high energy performance homes.
