RESNET submits draft PDS-01 MINHERS® Addendum 53f for public review and comment. Standard Development Committee 300 approved interim Addenda 53i and 55i that are incorporated in Addendum 53f to enact interpretations and clarifications of Standards ANSI/RESNET/ICC 301-2019 and ANSI/RESNET/ACCA/ICC 310-2020 essential to modifications of rating software that implement the new standards. Interim addenda take effect immediately to resolve time critical problems but must then be submitted to the public for comment prior to adoption of permanent requirements/criteria. The interim addenda and proposed Addendum 53f modify requirements of Standards 301-2019 and 310-2020 for implementation in the RESNET HERS. These changes apply only to the RESNET HERS. The addendum includes both changes to technical requirements of Standards 301-2019 and 310-2020 and exceptions that address the transition from Standard 301-2014 to 301-2019 for multi-family dwelling buildings. The draft addendum, comment form, and all comments submitted online are posted at Draft PDS-01, MINHERS® Addendum 53f, Modifications and Clarifications for Implementation of ANSI/RESNET/ICC 301-2019. After the comment period, RESNET Standard Development Committee 300 will consider and document each of the comments submitted and make appropriate changes. Any substantive changes will be submitted for public comment in a second draft of the addendum. Public comments will be accepted from February 1, 2021 and ending March 2, 2021.
