RESNET MINHERS® Addendum 36, Rater Recertification and HESP Elimination Effective Date, July 1, 2019 Addendum 36 amends Chapters 2 and 7 and Appendix B of the MINHERS® to remove the Home Energy Survey Professional certification from the RESNET standards and add an additional recertification option for Rating Field Inspectors. The Addendum amends Rater and Rating Field Inspector recertification requirements in Chapters 1 and 2 for consistency. The Addendum also removes the option for the graded field evaluation for rater recertification which is no longer a valid form of professional development. RESNET MINHERS® Addendum 41f, Tropical Climate Zone and Living Space Definitions; Time-limited Leakage Testing Exemption for Puerto Rico and US Virgin Islands Effective Date and Replaces Interim Addendum 41i, July 1, 2019 Addendum 41f (final) replaces interim Addendum 41i. The Addendum adds definitions for “Tropical Climate Zone” and “Living Area”. It also authorizes a time-limited exception to the requirements of Standard ANSI/RESNET/ICC 301 for testing the leakage of homes when determining a HERS® rating for homes in Puerto Rico and the US Virgin Islands. The exception expires on January 1, 2022.
