RESNET® Announces Standards Action Public Comment Draft PDS-01 MINHERS Addendum 81, Adoption of ANSI/RESNET/ICC 301-2022 Supplement and Draft PDS-02 MINHERS Addendum 75 PUBLIC COMMENT Draft PDS-01 MINHERS Addendum 81, Adoption of ANSI/RESNET/ICC 301-2022 Supplement RESNET® releases Draft PDS-01 MINHERS Addendum 81 for public review and comment. Addendum 81 supplements the Addendum 76 adoption of standard ANSI/RESNET/ICC 301-2022 as the basis for data collection and calculation of RESNET HERS® Index ratings. It adopts Standard 301-2022’s Addenda C and E and incorporates clarifications of certain energy rating software simulation criteria and data sources. Addendum C establishes software simulation requirements that improve the consistency of ratings generated by rating software tools. Addendum E clarifies the simulation requirements for Central Fan Integrated Supply (CFIS) systems. Addendum 75 is a major update to the MINHERS Chapter 9 QA requirements for the RESNET HERS®. Draft PDS-02 includes changes to Draft PDS-01 made in response to public comments. The draft addendum, comment form, and comments received are posted at Draft PDS-02 Addendum 75, Update Chapter 9 QA. Public comments will be accepted from February 12, 2025, through March 13, 2025.
