RESNET Standard Development Committee 900 approved draft PDS-01 of Addendum 34 for public review and comment. Only changes to the Mortgage Industry National Home Energy Rating Standards (MINHERS) shown in draft PDS-01 by strike through/underline in red print are open for comment. Proposed Addendum 34 amends the RESNET Mortgage Industry National Home Energy Rating Standards minimum requirements for the QA Data File. Currently, there is only the generic definition for Quality Assurance Data File and the definition does not establish a minimum acceptable threshold for the data that must be furnished to the provider and maintained by the provider for 10% File QAs. The proposed addendum identifies what a QA Data File must include as a minimum and is intended to improve the consistency, transparency and effectiveness of File QAs. Public comments will be accepted from April 22, 2019 through May 21, 2019. The draft addendum, comment form, and comments posted to date are posted at Draft PDS-01 of proposed Addendum 34: QA Data File. After the comment period, the RESNET Standard Development Committee 900 will consider and document each of the comments submitted and make appropriate changes.
