RESNET® Announces Public Comment on Draft PDS-01 Addendum 82, DX AC/HP Modeling Draft PDS-01 RESNET 1550, Embodied Carbon Draft PDS-01 Addendum 82, DX AC/HP Modeling RESNET® releases draft PDS-01 of Addendum 82, DX AC/HP Modeling, for public review and comment. The addendum establishes requirements for rating software modeling of direct expansion air conditioner and heat pump systems. The equipment performance modeling will be incorporated into RESNET accredited rating software to improve consistency of ratings. The draft addendum, comment form, and comments received are posted at PDS-01 Addendum 82. Public comments will be accepted from November 22, 2024, through January 21, 2025. Draft PDS-01 RESNET 1550, Embodied Carbon RESNET® releases draft PDS-01 of RESNET 1550, Embodied Carbon, for public review and comment. The standard provides a consistent methodology for the calculation and reporting of the embodied carbon of dwelling and sleeping units. The standard defines the scope for calculating embodied carbon and a methodology for conducting the calculations that uses the same modeling data and processes and reporting employed by standard ANSI/RESNET/ICC 301. The draft addendum, comment form, and comments received are posted at PDS-01 RESNET 1550. Public comments will be accepted from November 22, 2024, through January 21, 2025.
