It is with extreme sadness that we announce the passing of our Founder, Leader, Mentor, and President/CEO Nelson Rodriguez. Nelson passed peacefully Tuesday evening as a result of his brief battle with stage 4 Pancreatic Cancer. As a leader in the Affordable Housing and Hispanic Business Community, Nelson took great pride in the mission and vision of his companies, and the thousands of communities they serve nationwide. Those of us that knew Nelson personally, know how much he loved his businesses, the Nelrod/Fox Energy Specialists team, and the clients he served day in and day out. In 2000, Nelson established Fox Energy Specialists, a Division of The Nelrod Company. Taking combined years of affordable housing industry experience and additional building science training to become one of the top producing energy inspections, testing and HERS® rating companies in the country. Nelson is with his Heavenly Father now and can finally rest in peace knowing that his legacy will live on for generations to come.
