Florida builder LifeStyle Homes is the February 2021 RESNET HERS® Index Builder of the Month. In 2020, LifeStyle Homes had an average HERS® Index Score of 40.6, more efficient than the national average score of 58. In conjunction with guidance offered by RESNET Accredited Provider Florida Solar Energy Center (FSEC), LifeStyle Homes created its SunSmart℠ energy initiative. All new homes built by LifeStyle Homes were guaranteed to meet at least a HERS Index Score of 60 and produce 40% energy cost savings when compared to conventional homes.
