RESNET lost a great friend with the passing of Lee O’Neal this week. Lee served on the RESNET Board since 2004. He also served as the RESNET Board Treasurer and chairman of the RESNET Ethics and Appeals Committee. The RESNET Board and staff all feel a keen sense of loss from losing an ally and friend who worked hard for over a decade to grow RESNET. Over the years of his service as the RESNET Board Treasurer, Lee helped guide RESNET to a financially sustainable position not dependent on federal funds and an unsurpassed period of balanced budgets. Lee will always be remembered by those who had the privilege to work with him for his wit and wisdom as well as his willingness to fight the good fight to protect RESNET and our industry. We will all miss our tall and lanky Virginian with the white cowboy hat.
