RESNET Standards Development Committee 300 authorized the release of the first draft of proposed standard RESNET/ACCA 310-201x, Standard for Grading the Installation of HVAC Systems, for public comment. Standard 310 will establish procedures to evaluate performance related HVAC system elements by a Rater and implement the findings in the Energy Rating Index score. The standard is applicable to Unitary HVAC systems including air conditioners and heat pumps in detached one- and two-family Dwellings, Townhouses and in Dwelling Units and Sleeping Units that have their own HVAC system separate from other units.
