RESNET® releases draft PDS-01 of Addendum 74, Space Constrained AC, for public review and comment. The addendum adds a definition for Space Constrained AC and Heat Pump for use with SEER2/HSPF2 Conversion Factors established by Addendum 71. It also removes the exception for use of leakage and airflow defaults in lieu of testing that was established by Addendum 61, which expired 30 days after the federal COVID pandemic emergency declaration expired. The draft addendum, comment form, and comments received are posted at Addendum 74, Space Constrained AC. Public comments will be accepted from August 30, 2023, through September 29, 2023.
