Ben Adams Appointed as Chairman of RESNET Quality Assurance Committee

The RESNET Board of Directors has appointed Ben Adams of MaGrann Associates as the chairman of the RESNET Quality Assurance Committee.

Ben Adams is Vice President of Program Development at MaGrann Associates and is based in Philadelphia, PA.  He has been an active member of the RESNET Board during his tenure, including leadership for a number of task forces and inaugural chair of the Quality Assurance and Ethics Committee.  In particular, Ben has contributed to the development of RESNET standards for financial disclosure, standards of practice, quality assurance and sampling accreditation.  He is a current Board member of ACI (Affordable Comfort Inc.), a frequent presenter at both RESNET and ACI conferences and a proponent of collaborative initiatives between industry organizations.  Ben has an MBA from Drexel University and a BS from the University of Canterbury.  He has been responsible for the development and implementation of comprehensive, building science based residential programs for new and existing homes for more than 20 years.  Most recently, Ben has supported the development of the RESNET’s first designated Energy Smart Program by Louisville Gas & Electric and Kentucky Utilities (which also won the 2010 RESNET Market Transformation award) and has promoted the integration of HERS® based performance incentives and marketing for programs in Kentucky, Ohio and New Jersey.
