RESNET continues to commemorate the milestone of over 3 million HERS® rated homes with an updated marketing resource for builders, and a recognition program for those who go above and beyond in customer service, teamwork, commitment, and leadership. The brochure available for download and reprint by raters, providers, builders, and others, is available at RESNET Brand Assets on the RESNET website and reflects updated images, including the 3 million HERS® rated logo. The brochure is customizable, allowing builders and HERS® Rating companies to insert their company logos and information. Most importantly, it is part of RESNET’s ongoing commitment to support our HERS® Rater and builder partners in their efforts to successfully market their HERS-rated homes to consumers. RESNET recognizes those who helped to reach this milestone and wants to pay special recognition to the certified RESNET HERS® Raters and Rating Field Inspectors (RFIs) doing the extensive work of rating homes, every day. The three million homes HERS® rated equals reducing carbon dioxide emissions by over 49 million tons (the equivalent of taking nearly 9.7 million passenger vehicles off the road for one year), has improved the health and comfort of more than 13 million residents, and saved homeowners over $8 billion in energy costs. In 2020, over 299,000 homes received HERS® Index Scores, with nearly 1 in 4 new homes built receiving a HERS® Index Score.
