2012 RESNET Building Performance Conference Offers Two Day Pre-Conference Train the Trainer on Principals for Educating Adults Training

On February 25 & 26, 2012 the 2012 RESNET Building Performance Conference will offer two days of Train the Trainer on Principals for Educating Adults Training.

Using evidence-based guidelines developed through years of experience and research, this session covers the psychological processes of learning, the learning cycle, near and far knowledge transfer, the different views of learning, different types of training, how to select trainers, using an integrated teaching process, how to structure learning events based on student abilities, principles of instruction, how to analyze a job in order to teach it, how to design a learning experience to maximize knowledge gain, causes of failure, how to manage working memory in adult learners, how to build expertise in a short period of time, and how to design and deliver dynamic presentations.

This training will meet the RESNET requirement for rater trainers completing a program on the principals for educating adults.

The training will be offered by Brett Dillon, IBS Advisors and Kristof Irwin, Positive Energy.
