The proposed Addendum K amends Standard ANSI/RESNET/ANSI 301-2014, Standard for the Calculation and Labeling of the Energy Performance of Low-rise Residential Buildings using an Energy Rating Index, to change the standards referenced for determining the solar absorptance and emittance of roof products. The current standard references ASTM Standards C-1549, E-1918, or CRRC Method #1 in Table 4.2.2(1) for Roofs. The proposed addendum deletes the reference to those standards and replaces it with reference to Standard ANSI/CRRC S100. The deletions and addition are also made in section 6. Normative References.
