RESNET developed Standard ANSI/RESNET/ICC 380-2016 to incorporate all requirements for testing airtightness of building enclosures, airtightness  of heating and cooling air distribution systems, and airflow of mechanical ventilation systems required for energy ratings of residential buildings in an American National Standard (ANS). The intent is that ANS will be referenced by the MINHERS® for testing similar to the way Standard ANSI/RESNET/ICC 301-2014 is now referenced for energy ratings.  RESNET is accepting public comments on the referencing of Standard 380-2016 in MINHERS® RESNET.

RESNET Standard Development Committee 300 drafted a consensus proposed amendment version PDS-01 for public review and comment. Comments will be accepted for 30 days beginning August 26, 2016. Comments must be submitted using the online comment form which is accessed as indicated below.

After the comment period, the RESNET Standard Development Committee 300 will consider and document each of the comments submitted and make appropriate changes. The revised proposed amendments then will be submitted to the RESNET Standard Management Board for adoption.
