The standard provides criteria for how to estimate CO2e emissions from measured data on electricity and fuel consumption of a facility or organization. Draft PDS-01 was submitted for public review and comment in September 2024. It is intended for the purposes of complying with standards on disclosure of emissions and of reducing emissions year after year using an Energy Management System. Draft PDS-02 incorporates changes in response to comments received on draft PDS-01. Draft PDS-02 is submitted for public review and comment for 30 days, beginning April 25, 2025, and ending May 25, 2025. Proposed added text must be underlined and text proposed to be removed must be shown using strike-through. If not submitted in this format, the public comment may be rejected. Do not submit comments on other chapters or on sections or proposed changes that are not identified as open for public comment by red print. Comments not on the proposal under consideration will be rejected. If you submit public comment representing the collective interests of a group of stakeholders, you are encouraged to submit ONE public comment and identify all stakeholders in that comment. While not required, this expedites the ability of the committees to respond to commenters in a timely manner. Public comments are reviewed by committees comprised of volunteer members, that are Raters, Providers, Software Developers and other industry and public interest stakeholders.
