Proposed Addendum 45 amends the RESNET Mortgage Industry National Home Energy Rating Standards (MINHERS), Chapter 1 and Chapter 2 to bring them up-to-date with changes that have been made to the technical and quality assurance components of the HERS® and to improve the standards language. Note there are also substantive changes that should be reviewed. RESNET Standard Development Committee 200 has approved the changes to the first draft, PDS-01, of MINHERS® Addendum 45 based on public comments. T hose changes are shown in draft PDS-02 in strikeout/underline text in red print. Changes to Chapter 1 and Chapter 2 proposed in draft PDS-01 that are not changed due to public comment are shown in strikeout/underline text in black print. Comment on draft PDS-02 will be open beginning January 18, 2021 and end February 16, 2021. After the comment period SDC 200 will consider and document each of the comments submitted and make appropriate changes. Any substantive change to draft PDS-01 will be provided to the public for comment.
